Dr. Jonathan Quebbeman is a hydrologist and water resources engineer with more than 24-years of experience. He is currently the Director of Water Resources, South Asia, in addition to leading the Hydrologic Risk program with RTI International, a non-profit research institute. Jonathan works across the fields of water resources planning and management, stochastic hydrology, weather generation, and hydrologic forecasting systems. He has developed new techniques for supporting probabilistic flood hazards analysis and published several industry-level studies. Jonathan has worked across the United States for Federal and State agencies, the USACE, NASA, and TVA, in addition to international organizations including extensively with the World Bank. Jonathan obtained his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, followed by a Masters of Engineering in Water Resources and a Doctorate in Civil Engineering / Hydrology from Colorado State University. He currently resides on the coast of Maine near Acadia National Park and enjoys spending time with his family on the trails, or from the surrounding waters, admiring the local hydrology.
